7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate our websites, maintain sessions, remember preferences, improve website performance, understand how our websites are used, support security, and measure engagement with our website and emails.
Some of these tools may be provided by third parties. You can manage cookies through your browser settings and other available controls. Where required, we seek appropriate consent for non-essential tracking technologies.

We may use third-party providers, including SendGrid, to deliver emails. Depending on our settings, these tools may process contact details and record delivery data, opens, clicks, bounces, and unsubscribe activity.
9. Social Media and Messaging Platforms
If you contact us through social media or messaging platforms, both we and the platform provider may collect and use information related to that interaction.
The platform provider’s handling of that information is governed by its own privacy policy. Please do not send highly sensitive personal, payment, or financing information through social media or ordinary messaging unless we specifically direct you to a secure method.
10. Financing Applications
We may offer financing through third-party providers, such as Flexiti.
If you apply directly with a financing provider through the provider’s website, the provider collects and processes the information you submit under its own privacy practices.
If you ask our staff to assist with a financing application, we may collect from you and enter into the provider’s secure portal the information reasonably required to submit the application. We use that information only to facilitate the application you requested and related customer service or transaction support.
We may receive limited status information from the financing provider, such as whether an application was submitted or approved, where needed to support your purchase or inquiry. We do not make lending decisions. Approval, underwriting, financing terms, and ongoing account management are handled by the financing provider.
We retain only the personal information reasonably needed for our business records, legal requirements, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and customer service. Except where needed for those purposes or required by law, we do not retain full financing application details longer than reasonably necessary to assist with submission and related support.

- to financing providers when you ask us to help facilitate a financing application;
- to business partners or vendors as needed to fulfill orders, warranties, or services;
- when required or permitted by law, court order, warrant, or regulatory process;
- where necessary to protect our rights, property, safety, customers, or business operations; and
- in connection with an actual or proposed sale, merger, financing, reorganization, or other business transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards where required.
12. Processing Outside Alberta or Canada
Some of our service providers may access, store, or process personal information outside Alberta or outside Canada.
When we use service providers to process personal information on our behalf, we require them to protect it appropriately through contractual or other reasonable measures. Personal information processed in another jurisdiction may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction and may be accessible to courts, law enforcement, or regulators there.
13. Safeguards
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against loss, theft, unauthorized access, use, disclosure, copying, modification, or destruction.
These safeguards may include role-based access controls, account protections, secure systems, staff practices, and retention and destruction procedures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Requests should be made in writing to our Privacy Officer. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Where permitted by law, we may charge a reasonable fee for access requests after first providing an estimate.
